Previously, Rory led talent strategy at Pereira & O’Dell and 72andSunny New York, playing a key role in scaling, structuring, and strengthening their creative teams. At Pereira & O’Dell, he reduced turnover by 20% and increased female leadership by 50%. At 72andSunny, where he was the tenth employee in their NYC office, he was instrumental in hiring over 200 people in just two years. These experiences—building teams at speed, improving retention, and shaping talent strategy in high-growth environments—inform his hands-on approach to recruitment today.
Rory began his career at The Talent Business, an executive search firm based in London, where he placed over $8M worth of talent in just three years, across disciplines as diverse as User Experience, Creative Technology and Web design to Copywriting, Graphic Design and Community Management. He holds a Master’s degree in History and has an unwavering (and occasionally painful) love for Everton FC.
